You need to read this! This is a "coming out" story in a way. It's the story of a young womans' journey to come to terms with her paranormal abilities, from the need to keep them hidden, to bravely open up and share her experiences. Vanessa shares many of the experiences and people who helped her realize her gifts. It was eye opening to me, and by the end of the book, I came to trust her and learned so much. Her bravery, and mostly her honesty, and willingness to help others, made this book one of my favorites! Thank you Vanessa Hogle, for sharing your journey with us.

Wonderfully well written LOVED IT!

I loved this book and was sad to see it end. This is the first book I've read in awhile that has held my interest. The author paints a picture so clearly that you can actually envision yourself within the story. I truly recommend this book for anyone that is interested in what it is like for a true psychic medium/clairvoyant/remote reader. I can only hope there are more books in her future!

The First Mountain Man: Preacher's Showdown

The mountain series beggining with the first mountain man, was what brought me to william W. Johnstone. I read as many of these as I could find. I then read as many of the Smoke jensen, the last mountain man, books I could find. Then went ot Matt Jensen. All of these intermigle with the characters developed by bringing in Preacher to help develope Smoke Jensen, then bringing Smoke Jensen in to help develope Matt Jensen. All these books have been wonderful reading.

As Good As FINRA Guides

I bought this after the FINRA guides were making my eyes bleed and the Kaplan book on the S7 wasn't much of an improvement. I like how they break down the themes and then test you on them again and again, especially with mathematical calculations; an important part of the S7. But the best thing about these guides is the series of sample tests they have at the back of the book. Not just one per unit, but two or three. This is extremely helpful. With Finra and Kaplan, you end up learning the sample tests because there is just one per unit. Then you take the sample tests again and start mastering them, giving you a false sense of confidence in the material. What's happening is you are memorizing the questions and the multiple choices. But there are dozens of ways to ask the same question, and even more multiple choice options to use as well. Empire gives just enough extra sample exams, and one massive 250 question exam, to give you a better sense of mastery. I failed all the samples in Empire by a few points (70, 67, grades like that) and passed the S7.

The Exam Book and Text book came complete with practice answer sheets and a written letter from the president of the training program. I am impressed with the quality and the time in which I received my order. I would recommend this product to anyone who is interested in studying for the series 7 exam!!
