Good follow on

This is a follow on to Miss Martha's Christmas and Miss Martha and Mrs. Mary. I suppose you could read it without having read the previous books, but I don't think it would be nearly as enjoyable. Miss Martha is really a pretty good character who is a lot crustier on the outside than she is on the inside. I assume that more books are coming. However, one thing that I have appreciated about these books is that there is enough of a story and a resolution within each book that you feel somewhat satisfied. You aren't left hanging in every way. It isn't great literature, but I have enjoyed Miss Martha and her foster children. The struggles that children have in foster care are displayed in a realistic manner.

What a delightful novella. This is truly a lovely story. The story is a continuation of the previous novellas but can be read as a standalone book. Miss Martha and her family members are simply wonderful! Love the books! Thank you Beth Coy Browning for such heartfelt, clean cut, and Christian stories with great characters, settings, and plot.
