Just like his last two books this one was the humor ...

Just like his last two books this one was the humor while light hearted and reminisent of many harem and romance novels is also very unique in that its poking fun at itself and unlike many harem manga this one does a great job of fleshing out its characters and even better progressing the relationship of the main characters. All in all this book is amazing i was unable to put it down and i flew there the chapters honestly the only bad thing about this book is that it ended and now i have to wait however long it takes for the next one. All in all this is a incredible book and anyone who love anime/manga or even those who just love a great romance/comedy will love this book,

Once more, but this time with a maid and more echhi.

American Kitsune: A Fox's Maid takes place about a month after the second book in the series, and introduces a new character, Kotohime: Lillian's maid/bodyguard.
Kotohime is best described as a fusion of Miya from Sekirei and Grayfia from Highschool DxD. All in all, the author really pulled off the character very well, I highly enjoyed the scenes with Kotohime in them, more for her lines and actions than anything else. Kotohime has everything you'd expect from an anime style maid, from her politeness to her overall demure personality, Kotohime is a pleasant character, but just like Miya and Grayfia, incredibly frightening when annoyed, not that her expression changes.
Someone else who makes an appearance is Ms. Swift, although she's not there for long, she's there long enough for some interesting things to happen. Mostly caused by her.
Aside from Kotohime and Mrs. Swift, no other characters of note are introduced.
In A Fox's Maid the plot goes from being very predictable to incredibly unpredictable, if you're seen or read anything (fan fiction included) from the To Love Ru or Highschool DxD series, then you'll see some of the "plot twists" coming, but with the authors spin on it. Keep in mind, even though I sometimes could guess where the plot was going, it was only in a general sense. The actual plot is still very well masked.
The echhi meter is was turned to eleven in the last book, this time it's gone beyond the normal one to ten scale and just go to the "To Love Ru" level of echhi, with even more well timed falls, shower scenes and more.
The book is not without faults however. there are a few spelling errors throughout that were minor, but still present. There were also a handful of pages that seemed to only have the ending or a peice of a sentence on them, but that ,ay just be due to it being the Kindle version of the book.
All in all, American Kitsune: A Fox's Maid delivers a enjoyable story that shifts from light hearted to intense in a few scenes and gives the reader all the echhi they can handle.

Well worth the read!

A Fox's Maid is the third addition in the excellent American Kitsune series, and lives up to the legacy of its predecessors with gusto.
Bringing into play just the right mixture of relationship- and character-building with the occasional fight and a massive quantity of hilarity, A Fox's Maid and its prequels bring to life exactly the right kind of hilarious high school hijinks, excellently balancing the quirks of characters both magical and mundane.
Overall, American Kitsune is an excellent series to read... though make sure that nobody around you minds if you start randomly cackling at the shenanigans within!
