It's fun, it's sexy and it's hot....

Tall hot guy looking for "the" tall hot girl. Done! I was happy that Trevor (Mr. Grumpy) and Zoe (the bitch) found their way to each other. This was funny at times, filled with sexual tension and downright hot. Trevor and Zoe have been lusting after each other since they met her first year of college. They're now 20/30-something's and co-owners of a sex shop (adult toy store) along with Trevor's sister Samantha (Sam). Although neither Trevor/Zoe gives the other a clue as to how they feel, their highly overcharged lustful feelings have gone beyond their limits and they both resort to fowl behavior; Trevor is just grumpy and Zoe is a snarky bitch. The sexual tension is off the charts until a trip these two take to a business trade show in Vegas really sets things off. This love/hate thing is sooo fun for me because you know things are gonna blow. I adored Trevor and Zoe. Zoe is a pretty normal nerdy girl and just funny with her sassy sense of humor. Trevor is all quiet, brooding hotness. Gotta tell ya....the physical description of Trevor had me drooling from the get go. The inclusion of the other Grantham characters from previous bks was a big plus (Jake, Dex, their girls, etc.) as we get to catch up on what's going on with my other favorite couples.
My only negative to the story is when a huge misunderstanding takes place at the 80% mark between Trevor, Samantha and Zoe involving the mystery surrounding the story (no spoilers). Things get ugly quick when Trevor and Sam cut Zoe off cold. Of course they resolve things but that happens way too quickly for me with no real apology and no groveling on Trevor's part. Zoe was naturally hurt and p.o.'d but forgives Trevor way too soon for my liking. After that point gorgeous Trevor lost some appeal for me and that dimmed the enjoyment factor of the story. But have no fear Trevor is totally enamored and wrapped up in love with Zoe after that and Trevor/Zoe do get their happily ever after. I'll be hoping to hear more about them in future bks as this series plays out and maybe by then I'll have forgiven Trevor.:D
This author has become a favorite with me and she's a go to when looking for a sweet, sexy, hot alpha guy romance. Looking forward to whatever's next.

3 1/2-4 stars. Fun, fast, sexy read. I enjoyed the build up to their relationship. Secondary characters were entertaining. It was nice seeing glimpses of other characters from earlier books in the series. I agree with another reviewer who had an issue with how fast the h forgave the H and his sister ( the h's best friend). I wish authors would make make their male leads sweat it out a little more! Not my favorite from this author, but pretty good.
